Executive Transition Coaching
The New CEO assessment surfaces the organization’s early impressions of the CEO and the priorities they believe are most important for the new leader to address. In addition, specific individual assessments (e.g., Strategic360®, Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator, EQI, FIRO-B, and more) are selected and administered prior to developing the Coaching Plan.
The framework for coaching during the leader’s transition is based on six fundamental propositions—managing the transition, maximizing outcomes through situational self-awareness, accelerating onboarding , cycles that build or damage credibility, crossroads for leadership development, and developing the process for transitioning other executives to increase the organization’s ROI.
Coaching packages are available either as a bank that may be drawn on by designated individuals as needed; or as a specific number of sessions in a coaching contract. Strategic Programs Client Services requests that coaches periodically and confidentially rate their coaches.

Their level of involvement after the Action Plan is outlined, is determined by client need. They can certify qualified human resources or organizational development professionals to administer most of our assessments, and generate reports from our user-friendly Strategic Insight dashboard; or they can provide extensive consulting engagements in partnership with our clients.
Mentors complete assessments and meet with their coaches prior to the training in order to optimize the value in relation to their mentoring strengths and development opportunities. Likewise, mentees receive preliminary coaching that outlines their responsibilities and how they can maximize the mentor-mentee relationship. Customized modules are designed to engage and train qualified professionals in supporting talent management through the process.
